This day-long ceremony is about reconnecting with your native ancestors, and learning to see through the eyes of your bones. John will talk about the importance of connecting with your senses as a way to still the mind and awaken intuition. Participants will learn the Ancient Art of the African trance dance. It involves shaking the body in a particular way and listening to the heart beat. It has been practiced without cessation for thousands of years. It develops incredible energy.

John will be available for private spiritual counseling sessions at the Sacred Earth Foundation. The sessions will involve either divination sessions, throwing the bones in the traditional South African way, OR dream interpretation, OR plant healing with medicinal plants.

Hallow (holy) een (evening) is the cusp of All Soul’s Day.  The energetics of this evening facilitate healing connection with our ancestors.  The “Izinyanya” or Shining Hidden Ones await us as we bring respect and gratitude to our ancestors.

Gathered around the sacred fire, John will open and close the ceremony and lead us in an evening of community. We will inspire and support one another in the old way through songs, stories and laughter.  Participants are encouraged to bring stories of joy, destiny and love. On this All Hallows Eve we will give our collective story to the fire for transformation and healing.

We cannot expect the threat of war on earth to cease until we are at peace with ourselves. Inner turmoil creates external chaos and misunderstanding. As we reconcile and embrace the wounds and imperfections within our personal history and respect our ancestors, we bring peace to our planet.  Through listening to the messages of our ancestors and our own soul through dreams, we are able to radiate peace and bring healing to the climate of war.

In this orientation evening John brings in the powerful energy of traditional African shamanism to activate our connection with shamanic dreaming.  Through cultivating harmony and balance with our ancestors we can restore harmony and balance in our lives; and open the door to authentic shamanic dreaming.
