I would like to share a few stories and newsworthy items with you. I had another incredible time in the Kalahari Desert this year. I was invited by the Bushmen San elders to spend time in their village, which was such an honour. It was really hot, with temperatures exceeding 40C (104 F) on some days. It was wonderful to observe the birds, dung beetles and butterflies. There was a proliferation of them while they searched for moisture. The garden of eden spoke in her language of symbols and we listened through the sweat of our bodies as we walked on the sand and drank in the sunsets.

In the Okavango we were blessed with an incredible leopard sighting. We rounded a bend in the road and staring at us like a vision from beyond was a young leopard. We also had a beautiful lion pride sighting where we observed about 7 young lions after a fresh kill in the midday.
