In Saturday’s webinar we will explore yarrow and it’s physical & spiritual healing properties. Yarrow is known as a ‘warrior plant’ due to it’s ability to stop bleeding. In China yarrow was used to ‘re-awaken’ the spiritual forces of the mind when divining with I-Ching. It is also good for spiritual protection & strengthening/clarifying personal boundaries. Another use I just became familiar with is as an insect repellent. In Alaska they say rubbing yarrow flowers on skin & clothes can keep mosquitos away.

I would like to draw peoples’ attention to the spiritual aspects of the plant. Yarrow has a remarkable ability to ‘strengthen’ our spirit. Like many medicinal plants it is also a ‘portal opener’, i.e. it has the ability to transport us into the dreamtime or spirit realm. I will show people how we use yarrow as a treatment on the call. If you would like to do the treatment with me then do the following:

  • 24-48hours before our call this Saturday.

  • Place one heaped tablespoon of dried yarrow flowers into a gallon of water.

  • have a square plastic dishpan next to you. You can purchase them in any dollar store or supermarket.

  • Have some pipe tobacco handy, like American Spirit.

  • If you can’t do the treatment during this time, don’t worry, it will be recorded.
