I will be speaking on Saturday. The theme is ‘Let’s speak about Ancestors’. Who are they in the Southern African tradition. What role do they play in life? Ancestral veneration is at the heart of ‘Ubuntu’ philosophy or humanity teachings. In Southern African traditional healing there are many words to denote ancestors. A powerful word is 'amathambo' meaning bones. Our future and past is connected to our Bones, the home of our DNA. As we connect to our bones in a mindful way we connect to our own unique nature.

Honouring our human ancestors is at the core of indigenous shamanic practices around the world. In order to know where we are going as a human race we need to know where we come from and honour our forebears.

This livestream is a free introduction to my upcoming monthly webinar ceremonies/course on developing an Ancestral Practice.

The livestream will also feature some chanting, drumming & a guided meditation.
