Celebrate Winters Solstice with John Lockley, Sandra Ingerman, Itzhak Beery, Renee Baribeau and a host of international teachers for this years 14th Annual Fire Tenders Gathering.

For the past 14 years, Fire Tenders around the world have gathered during the IAM Winter Solstice Gathering to light candles, tend home altars, and hold space for the return of the light. These individuals—ordinary and extraordinary—are the heartbeat of this gathering. They show up year after year, keeping the vigil alive across continents and time zones.

This year’s theme is Sacred Resilience, a call to stand together in the light, even as the world turns. The 14th annual Fire Tenders Winter Solstice Gathering takes place December 19–20, and all are welcome to join.

Ways to Participate:

• Join the Free Online Vigil – livestreamed teachings and rituals on The Practical Shaman Facebook Page

• Light a candle, tend a home altar, and enter the collective field from wherever you are

• Watch the Opening Fire Ceremony streamed live from Whidbey Island (Dec 19) 

• Experience a full day of live wisdom offerings from respected elders and teachers (Dec 20)

Each year, we also compile a Fire Tenders Altar Video featuring images from the community. You’re invited to send in a photo of your candle or altar to be part of this moving tradition.
