I would like to share with you an exciting webinar which I have planned for this Friday 17th. I will be speaking LIVE from the Okavango Delta in Botswana, one of the 7 natural wonders of Africa. I will be speaking about the role of the Matriarch in the Animal Kingdom. I will be joined by a special guest, my friend and colleague Alwyn Myburgh; safari guide, tracker and nature conservationist.
We will discuss the role of matriarchs in the animal kingdom with special emphasis placed on Lions, Elephants, Hyaena & Wild Dogs, to name a few. Lions are seen as been patriarchal with the male lions ruling their kingdom, but on closer inspection it is matriarchal in terms of the life of the pride being dependent on the lioness. Maybe the same could be said for humanity and why we are out of balance with ourselves? Something to ponder…
Time: 8am PST (Los Angeles); 91am Mountain Time (Boulder); 11am EST (New York); 6pm South Africa (Cape Town); 4pm UK (London). If you can’t make it live, don’t worry, you will receive the recording afterwards.
As I sit writing this newsletter I am a few hundred meters away from wilderness spaces where Elephants and Hyaena have been spotted roaming. I feel honoured to sit with Alwyn and those of you who will join us this Friday to discuss some of the hidden, feminine aspects of the animal world. This webinar is the second in a 3 part series on ‘The Rise of the Goddess’. As we breathe these stories of feminine strength and resilience it only empowers our deeper exploration of the Goddess within and around us, thus feeding this mystery that sustains life on planet earth.
This webinar is part of a subscription of $30 per month, cancel anytime. Join us for an enchanting webinar.
I was recently interviewed by Celine Roche for her upcoming summit ‘The Art & Science of Shamanism’. We discussed the metaphysical aspects of Shamanism and how it is relevant for our modern world. The title of my talk is ‘Reconnecting to the Tree of Life’. It is a FREE summit and takes place from the 7-11th March. We will be joined by over 20 speakers from around the world who will share their wisdom, teachings and ancestral traditions. You are invited to take part.
“To understand the language of nature we need to feel her breathe, touch her cloak of vulnerability and be prepared to engage on her terms without the trappings of domesticity”, John Lockley.
