Many people ask me how they can improve their dream life. Either people can’t remember their dreams or find them unfulfilling. My answer is always, “engage with your ‘Waking Dream’, do some focused dream practices whilst awake to change your dreams at night…”. We will explore simple dream practices to harness and engage more with your dreams at night like drumming, chanting, trance rhythms and intentional prayer.

To start the practice ask yourself one question. ‘Do you want to improve your dream life’? Strong intention results in strong practice.

For many of you who are familiar with my work, you would have heard me speak about the power of dreams to help heal us and activate our intuition. An area of work I haven’t touched on is ‘the waking dream’; visions or intuitions we receive in the waking state. Often this involves some form of altered state or non-ordinary state of consciousness.

Ancient cultures like the sangoma peoples of Southern Africa use percussion, rhythm, dancing, plant medicine and chanting to receive powerful visions in the waking state.

To help people with their dreams I have felt called to focus on some ritual practice to activate peoples ‘waking dreams’. This often has a profound effect on peoples’ sleep and nighttime dreams.

These sessions will involve live sangoma drumming. I will also teach a few trance rhythms and chants to grease your journey. 🦁😊
