I will share some stories, background and vision behind the retreat. People will have an opportunity to ask questions.
I will be joined by Chris Casillas who was a past participant in 2020. He shared a special moment with me when he spoke to one of the Bushmen trackers and asked him what he could do to help his community. His reply was “keep bringing people to the Kalahari”.
A key aspect of the retreat & masterclass is teaching modern people indigenous skills. With the environment in flux and species extinction at an all time high the ‘Call of the Wild’ couldn’t be louder. Every dollar spent on the retreat will go towards supporting people dedicated to conserving the natural wilderness of Africa.
This is the only retreat of it’s kind happening in Africa today.
Most safari’s in Africa are dedicated to photography or hunting, ours is focused on learning from the land, people & animals.
