I have been working on upgrading my YouTube channel to help people navigate their spiritual practice. The focus of my work is ‘mindfully listening to the winds inside and outside; harmonizing ourselves with the natural world. Please have a look around and click subscribe if you feel called. It is dedicated to all of us on the road to finding home amidst the chaos.

I am delighted to share with you my next online public event. I have been invited by East West Bookshop in Seattle to give a book talk this Friday and lead a one day workshop on Saturday.

The focus of the talk will be on my book ‘Leopard Warrior’ and my audio course ‘The Way of the Leopard’, both published by Sounds True. I will be sharing new stories from my book and some background information. Even though my book was published in 2017 it is even more relevant today in our struggle with the COVID pandemic. A core theme in the book is overcoming adversity through a spiritual practice of devotion, mindfulness and listening to nature.

The one day workshop on Saturday will involve teaching people the system of South African Indigenous medicine to connect to one’s spirit, ancestors (bones) and dreams. We call this ‘Ubuntu Ubunzulu’, the depth of humanity. A good tree has strong roots and can withstand turbulent weather. In the modern world we are all being called to become more resilient. A key element is re-learning how to connect to our intuition through connecting with our Bones - our Ancestors.

I will also be offering Divination sessions after the weekend. Throwing the Bones to help lighten peoples’ journeys.

A ‘Leopard Warrior’ is not a fearless individual but rather someone who has made peace with their own shadows/ vulnerabilities and trusts in the winds of nature’.

A beautiful invitation to open your eyes and heart to whole new worlds of shamanic healing and spirit. A reminder to trust your dreams and inspiration, and to love, dance and awaken to mystery."

Jack Kornfield - Author of A Path With Heart

"Leopard Warrior is truly a remarkable account of the initiation of a white male in South Africa into becoming a Sangoma. This is quite a sign to be entrusted with these deep ancestral mysteries. John Lockley shares a wealth of stories that will bring tears to your eyes as well as inspire you to want to learn more. The exercises he provides are simple yet transformative. This book is brilliant!"

Sandra Ingerman, MA author of Soul Retrieval and Walking in Light: The Everyday Empowerment of Shamanic Life
