Dear Subscriber First Name, What happens when we start to remember our Ancestors? Remembering our ancestors is about remembering not only our family stories but also our humanity. The process of remembering has an alchemical and emotional effect on our whole being including our nervous system and DNA or inner chemistry. We become both smarter and more compassionate when we ‘remember our Ancestors’. I will be discussing this in my upcoming 7-week course which starts this Wednesday 13th August, hosted by the Shift Network. It is important on many different levels. The obvious reason is our human race is struggling with a lack of humanity and compassion right now. There is ecological degradation and destruction on a massive scale in the world with many species going extinct on a monthly and yearly basis. We can prevent this by tuning in to the ancient more indigenous parts of ourselves that connect to the wilderness. Dreaming: As people remember their ancestors they also start to remember their dreams. A kind of soul healing happens where, like a baobab tree connecting with its roots going back 2000 years, we have the opportunity to connect to the wisdom of our human race going back eons. Like the sap of a tree it is stored in our blood and DNA.
