Storm Fund Update

Dear Subscriber First Name,

Here is a short update on my Ubuntu appeal to help my young sangoma friend, Gogo. Ubuntu is an old South African philosophy which speaks about humanity; meaning ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’. As one person struggles, we all struggle; and our response is to help one another.

With this in mind I would like to bring my hands together in a South African sangoma blessing and say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who contributed to helping rebuild my young friend’s home that was damaged by a thunderstorm in May this year.

Our target was $3000. So far we managed to raise $2556. I would love to make our target! Only $444 to go! How magical! The walls and roof of Gogo’s home have been repaired (see pictures below). I would love to be able to help him replace the clothes, bedding and other household items that were damaged by the storm.

My young friend is a descendant of one of the most famous and well known Xhosa prophets & healers in the Eastern Cape, SA, called Nxele. As we help him we make it possible for this ancient knowledge to survive, thrive and be passed on to the next generation.

To help my young sangoma friend please click here or the button below; and be part of a movement to support indigenous South African healers. I can accept all payments via Paypal or Venmo.

May the music of your people open your heart and dreams ✨

😊🌀🔥

Warmest wishes,

John.
