Using heartbeat meditation & traditional ceremony, John brings a unique weekend retreat to Oakland, at contemplative gallery space, the Asclepion.* Participants at this one-day intensive retreat will dive into dreams, connection with Ancestors, and opening the road to personal destiny.
Participants will be:
• Connecting with their Ancestors through prayer and name ceremony
• Learning about dreams in an indigenous way
• Sacred Sangoma drumming, chanting and trance dancing
• Learning dynamic mindfulness meditations– South African traditional spirituality is infused with the heart beat rhythm accessed in songs, prayers and dancing
